Unions are also illegal, and striking workers rebelling against their employers have been deported. Having said this, everyday you hear an announcement from the UAE government trying to improve conditions for workers.
With all this in mind, Dubai still has its benefits and some of the conditions stated are still better than some other countries. It is however, more than beneficial to use a recruitment company, and preferably one based in the UAE.
