Civil Structural Engineers - Mid to Senior Level - x6 Positions
Due
to the increasing workload, Civil-Structural Engineers with strong technical
capability and high potential to professional growth are required to assist in
a range of projects. In this position you would conduct engineering
design assignments within clearly defined scopes under the general direction of
a Senior or Lead Discipline Engineer.

Primary
objective
Due
to the increasing workload, Civil-Structural Engineers with strong technical
capability and high potential to professional growth are required to assist in
a range of projects. In this position you would conduct engineering
design assignments within clearly defined scopes under the general direction of
a Senior or Lead Discipline Engineer.
Different
types of Hydrocarbon ad Infrastructure projects, from studies and conceptual
design development through to detailed design, construction roles and project
development.
Essential
Skills/Experience
Technical
Skills in Engineering and Designing of structures and foundations associated
with Oil & Gas and Infrastructure Facilities.
Familiar
with American, British and other International Codes, Standards and
Specifications.
Familiar/User
of Engineering, Drafting and Softwares such as STAAD Pro, SACS, MathCad, AutoCad,
Microstation and MS Office Software
Recent
experience in Oil and Gas and Solid Waste Handling Facilities.
Specific
Accountabilities
Prepare
designs, sketches and reports with supporting calculations for projects, and
supply drafting staff with information to assist in the production of detailed
drawings, the development of quantities, materials lists and cost estimates as
required.
Must
be able to perform site visits & inspections, data gathering activities and
technical evaluations that are relevant to assigned tasks and works.
Must
be able to complete the assigned tasks or deliverables within the allotted
budget and schedule.
Assist
in the preparation of technical detail for quotations, contract documentation
and technical specifications.
Liaise
with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers concerning the
design, installation or construction and commissioning of assigned work.
Participate
in the planning of projects as required.
Quality
Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of Quality
Assurance system.
Safety
– Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices and costumers work
places. Understand and follow basic OH&S procedures.
Matching
Indicators
With
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent.
Minimum
10 years total working experience. (for Senior role)
Minimum
15 years total working experience. (for Lead role)
At
least 5-8 years experience in engineering and design works, preferably in
Hydrocarbon facilities (for Senior role)
At
least 10-12 years experience in engineering and design works, preferably in
Hydrocarbon facilities (for Lead role)
At
least 3-5 years experience in engineering and design of infrastructure works.
(for Senior role)
At
least 6-8 years experience in engineering and design of infrastructure works.
(for Lead role)
Familiar
with International standards such as ACI, AISC, API, ASTM, AASHTO, BS, UBC/IBC,
etc.
User
of STAAD Pro, SACS, MathCad and MS Office softwares
User
or knowledge in using AutoCad and Microstation software is preferable, but not
essential
Membership
of reputable Engineering and Technical Associations and Institution is an
advantage, but not essential.
