Estimator

We are currently working with a construction firm that is currently expanding in the UAE. They are looking for an Estimator who will be interested in a a position in Dubai working on a wide range of commercial projects.

Requirements
The successful candidates should be have 6-10 years estimating experience of working on commercial projects as well as in preparing hard money tenders and cost plans. A quantity surveying experience would be appreciated. Given that the applicants should have to be in relation with clients, project managers and other members of the project team, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential. Excellent IT skills and ability to work quickly to meet tight deadlines are also included in the requirements.

Duties
Reporting to the Senior Managers, the successful candidates will be responsible for the preparation of tenders and cost plan budgets. Duties include assessing all documentation necessary for the development of the project, resolving innovatively any problem arising during the construction process and attending to all project team meetings. Liaising with any third party involved in the projects is also part of the role.
