Job Description

• The role requires a hands-on approach to site inspection and a good knowledge to the formal protocols required.
• Further, the role demands the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with client project teams, designers and contractors towards attaining defects free delivery of site works.
• Producing and circulating formal Visit and Audit reports.
• Encouraging a culture of QA/QC as a discipline on projects.
• Compile statistical data on production performance and report results.
• Co-author and implement quality control procedure manual for conducting day to day operations, tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality and performance per client specifications.
• Review manufacturers product and provide recommendation for design and specification
• Review and approve of all associated supplier issued quality assurance / control documentation, problem solving of field inspection non-conformances / deviations from suppliers during inspection life cycle.
• Managing the QA/QC department, including monitoring day-to-day operations of department personnel and assisting in the efficient planning and implementation of site inspections and testing seeking to recruit a Quality Control Manager for their impressive project in Qatar.
• The role is focussed on the inspection of site works and requires a broad knowledge of construction materials, installation techniques and site workmanship standards.

Profile 

• The proven performer we seek will have a degree in Construction/Architecture and have 10+ years experience within the industries including direct experience with QA/QC based methodologies.
• A high level of proficiency with international building codes, highly developed computer skills and strong written and spoken English language skills are essential.
• Candidates must have experience on high end commercial projects along with a high level of exposure on joinery projects.
• An ability to adapt and work with different cultures is essential and candidates with expatriate experience in Asia or the Middle East will be highly regarded.
