Technology Manager - Cumene, Phenol, BPA

The Technology Manager Phenol, Cumene, BPA (Bisphenol-A), who will be reporting to the Project Manager Phenol, Cumene, BPA, will be responsible to manage all technology related aspects of the Phenol, Cumene, BPA Project.

Main tasks are the following:

Support the Project Director Aromatics, the Project Manager and the Commercial Manager in the definition and agreement with Licensors of all performance guarantees and main technology requirements

Interface Licensors during the Process Design preparation

Liaise between Licensors and FEED Contractors during FEED preparation

Review all main equipment specs and process P & IDs during FEED

During EPC, as part of the IPMT, act as Owner’s representative for all aspects regarding the process technologies, liaising with Licensors (if necessary)

Participate to all Hazops and safety reviews.

Review, from the process stand point, all main engineering documents issued by EPC Contractor.

Liaise between EPC Contractor and Owner’s operations

Join Owners operation and Licensors during commissioning, start-up and performance tests execution

The Technology Manager shall initially be based in the London offices and then relocate to the selected FEED and EPC Contractors offices until the IPMT will move to the site.

Profile

Chemical Engineering Degree.

Minimum 15 years experience as Process / Technology Manager.

Consolidated Process Design and / or operating experience of Phenol and derivatives plants

Knowledge of the main Phenol, Cumene, BPA technologies

Availability to relocate for long periods.

Fluent English
