Job Description

• Management of the design phase of assigned projects in co-ordination with the engineers & consultants
• Management of Tender process, pre-qualification, selection of vendors and contractors
• Prepare tender evaluation report & prepare recommendation for final approval from direct supervisor and concerned committees
• Prepare for and conduct pre-qualification meetings and handover to Construction Management Team
• Attend all senior management follow-up progress meetings & co-ordination meetings.
• Monitor and verify material submittals, shop drawings, process etc
• Follow up with the project schedule and ensure the completion as targeted.
• Verify & approve completion certificates, as built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Preparation of project budgets and monthly budget status reports in conjunction with the QS Manager • Preparation of monthly progress reports for review and approval.
• Prepare presentations and coordinate on-site meetings with managers and clients
• Evaluate quality of services provided  

 DUTIES -

•  Be able to consult their clients and give technical support to other project managers within the company on various different projects. He/She will required to produce technical reports on assessing each of these needs for every project.

Profile 

• Experience of which gained in a management role
• Experienced in meeting Clients
• Strong leadership skills 
• Thorough knowledge of design and construction processes
• First hand experience of the project type, or very similar project.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to chair and effectively steer large meetings
• Ability to manage a team and to work within a team framework
• Good communication skills - good knowledge of English and Arabic an advantage
