We are currently recruiting a Senior Planning engineer / manager for a large international contractor to be located in Abu Dhabi.
Job Description
Assess the viability or alternative Design and Construction techniques/methods.
Produce estimates/cost plans/budgets for viability assessment by Project Directors.
Preparing work packages, documentation and quality requirements for tender by potential subcontractors.
Evaluating subcontractors to ensure capacity and capability to carry out the work.
Responsible for timely reporting to the Project Director in order to jointly develop system improvements.
Monitoring design and estimated costs with project estimate/price on an ongoing basis.
Profile
Successful applicants will have a proven track record working on major building/civil projects, a thorough understanding of Primavera P6 (essential) and the ability to work alongside senior management.
Candidates must have a degree in Civil Engineering with 10 years post graduation experience.
Within this position you will need to demonstrate exceptional managerial skill, well-developed written and oral communication abilities and detailed knowledge of industry best practice.
In addition we require the successful candidates to contribute to the delivery of the Project on time, within budget and quality standards.
Experience within a Mid-Tier or Top-Tier Contractor is a prerequisite for this position.
