procedure from planning to inspection of the falsework to be used on their
project.
Location: Dubai
Main Accountabilities:
- To ensure a correct falsework procedures are followed and that operations
are carried out safely.
- Will be involved in planning stage i.e. deciding what needs to be supported
and how long the falsework will be in use.
- Conducting risk assessment before erecting any falsework. The findings of
that risk assessment will form the basis for JSA 001-Erecting Falsework. This
procedure shall be fully understood by the Temporary Works Coordinator.
- Raising the required permit to erect the falsework upon the receiving the
handover certificate from the engineer that the falsework is ready for
erecting.
- Responsible in deciding the time of striking each section of the falsework
upon the receipt of the handover certificate.
- Be involved in the on-going training and assessment that’s carried out on
site for the duration of the project.
- Responsible in carrying out visual inspection before erectors go onto the
falsework at the start of the shift and monitor throughout the day. He will
also do an end of shift inspection and hand over to night shift, if needed.
- Responsible in maintaining the falsework register.
Requirements
-The
incumbent must be a Qualified Engineer with at least 4-5 years of experience
dealing into falsework or temporary works operations.
-Experience in supervision of bridge scaffolding is an advantage.
Preference will be given to candidates who are locally available.
