Service Manager - Dammam, KSA

This is a new position with a leading Global lifting systems solutions provider, who despite the economic downturn are rapidly expanding their presence in the GCC region.

 

Job Purpose:

To lead a service team in KSA and bring in the budgeted service revenue for the region. He would be responsible for Techno/ Commercial consultation to our clients

 

Principal Accountabilities:

Technically and administratively leading and guiding a DEMAG service team.

Achieving service (Field service, Spares and Refurbishment) sales with target Gross margin

Market penetration and enquiry generation through companies and Govt. organizations with cranes installed base primarily focusing on DEMAG cranes

Follow up on inquiries, submission of quotations, negotiations, follow ups and finalization

Exploring and developing the SERVICE business opportunities and developing partnerships to increase market share.

Key account management and customer relations

Development of the regional market identity

Co-coordinating refurbishment project execution with HQ.

Rendering the warranty jobs and control of warranty cost and ensuring high customer satisfaction with quality DEMAG service.

MIS reporting and project analysis

Maintenance of critical stocks at KSA and quarterly and annual stock take as per HQ guidelines.

 

Qualification:

Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical).Additional Management qualification will be an advantage.

6-8 years experience in service selling of capital goods industry in KSA or Gulf market.

Fluent in English language (Written & Oral) and Arabic preferable

Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package.

Attributes & Quality

Being an active team worker and capable of handling a team of 8-10 service engineers + order processing personnel.

Must have a proven track record of achieving sales targets

Must be self motivated and target driven

Having intimate experience with overhead travelling & suspension cranes will be an advantage

Having experience in selling After Sales Services and Products in an industrial environment

Having knowledge of the Saudi Arabian /GCC Market will be an added advantage

Must be ready to travel extensively to cover the whole market.

Having Techno/ Commercial Experience

 

Location:  Dammam

 

Expected Remuneration:

SAR 180 K – 200 K per annum
