Job Description
The Financial Manager is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring of business and financial strategies including development of personnel and systems to improve the current process.
He provides the division heads with timely, relevant and reliable financial information, which will be a main point for consideration in formulating the strategic goals of the company as well as in revising current divisions’ business strategies, if needed.
The Financial Manager will be in charge of accounting processes, business plan preparation, financial forecasting and reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash management.
He will evaluate and summarize current market trends and laws relating to construction and prepare recommendations for appropriate company action.
He will ensure that expenses are monitored and that reports are prepared to maintain balanced accounts.
Profile
University graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Engineering or Construction Management
At least 8 years experience as a Financial Manager in a Construction company operating in the GCC
Must have knowledge of ratio analysis, balance sheet analysis, monthly management reporting and budgeting and costing
Must have experience in analysis of risk, monthly job costing, MIS reporting and cost management variance
Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic
Proficient in MS Office applications
Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity and trustworthiness
