Contracts Manager
The Contracts Manager, who will be reporting
to the Commercial Manager, will be responsible to manage the contractual
matters of the Project, in coordination with the relevant Shared Service
Centre.
In doing that he will directly support the
involved Project Directors. It is envisaged that, at a later stage of the
Project (during EPC), he should manage a group of Contract Managers,
dedicated to each of the EPC Contract.
His main tasks are the following:
· Define ITB packages
including but not limiting to Contract conditions
· Manage and
coordinate Contract negotiations with Bidders
· Provide inputs to
commercial evaluations
· Interface with
Lenders Contract Advisors
· During execution,
manage contract discussions in connection with claims, change orders.
· Assist the involved
Project Directors in any contractual negotiation with Contractors.
· Assist Commercial
Manager in the preparation of the General Purchase / Subcontract procedures.
The Contracts Manager shall initially be
based in London, offices until the IPMT will move to the site. In the meantime
he will have to share his time between the various involved EPC Contractors’
Offices.

Profile
Engineering or law degree
Minimum 10 years experience as Contracts Manager of large EPC
projects (> 500 million USD).
Consolidated experience of management of Contracts for Projects
implemented in the GCC Countries.
Good knowledge of the main Contract formats and laws.
Availability to relocate for long periods.
Good negotiating skills
Fluent English
