Profile

The successful candidate will assist structural project teams on a variety of new building development projects in the UAE.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Assess the quality of work in progress on site.
• Review shop drawings and structural development work in progress.
• Coordinate with the design team and external inspectors, contractors and developers as required to resolve site issues in a timely manner.
• Produce Site Visit Reports and Construction Review Reports to company standard.
• Record activities on each project for reference on invoices.
• Perform structural design layouts and modifications to drawings as required.
• Check drawings against the architectural drawings for compatibility and completeness.
• Create and update detailed drawings for building structures, using AutoCAD.
• Maintain drafting standards.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to create structural engineering & construction drawings.
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
• Must be confident and able to relate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Effective organizational skills and an attention to detail.
