        Technical 

• To manage the overall activities of various projects in the assigned area, by ensuring that the agreed KPIs such as time, cost and quality standards are met on continuous basis.
• To coordinate and integrate the functions of relevant departments to continuously enable construction at site.
• To be responsible for the smooth working of the Engineering Division of the organization, from mobilization, commencement of Project to construction process and handing over the project to the client, considering the aspects of quality, cost and safety.
• To coordinate with the consultant, client, structural consultants and other appointed consultants to ensure the handling and provision of all relevant documentation is managed correctly.
• To ensure the economy of operation on continuous basis by strictly adhering to cost & planning management, value addition, and system implementation.
• To continuously communicate with the Project Managers/ Project Directors and check the progress of the projects. To provide timely decisions on matters which are pertinent.

          Administrative

• To organize and attend in house and outside meetings related with the projects/ activities under your area and communicate the required information to the concerned.
• To keep the documents information system regularly uodated.
• To provide proper feedback regarding work, site environment or any other vital information on a periodic basis.
• To be responsible for settlement of bills, to check the payment schedule/ work schedule, settlement of disputes if any, making legal agreements with the consent of management, check the running bills, cash bills, petty cash for all site requirements.
• To coordinate with all concerned departments like Planning, Tender, Accounts, Admin & HR departments in Head office for matters related with the concerned area.
• To appraise the management of emerging trends in construction/related industries and strengthen the organization to sustain its competitive edge on a long term perspective.
• To organize and attend in house and outside meetings related with the projects/ activities under your area and communicate the required information to the concerned.
• To verify the project layouts, building layouts, strata, other survey reports and actual implementation on site.
  
  Man management
• Performance reporting to the management regarding project progress, legal aspects, difficulties facing on work sites, budgetary provisions, material delivery schedule, cost control on various materials, man power requirement, modifications in work, organizing training programmes, seminars, new system implementation etc.
• Advice the management on new ideas, developments, economy etc. and manages practical implementation of such ideas through zone/ projects in charges.
• To keep an overall control on working of all engineering division, motivate the entire team, and submit the performance evaluation report on regular basis
• Arranging regular staff conferences and meetings to discuss the work programmes, material schedule, quality of work, new systems adopted/suggestions, efficiency evaluation of individual, contractor’s problems if any.
• Conduct periodical performance appraisal of the manpower together with Human Resources and submit the same to the top management with recommendations for increment, promotion/demotion/termination which ever is applicable

• A Graduate or Postgraduate in Civil Engineering along with a Masters in Business Administration / Management would be an added advantage.
• Must have excellent project management skills. Must be adept in all or most of project management techniques with relevance to building construction. Must be a very good communicator both verbal and in written communication. Must possess good interpersonal and leadership skills. A highly skilled man manager and adept in motivating the team.
• Must have worked in a similar capacity in a construction or general contracting company managing multiple high rise projects at a time.
• An ideal match would be a person with around 15 years of experience in a similar capacity in U.A.E or G.C.C. countries
