Land Surveyor

The Land Surveyor is responsible for all on-site project duties relating to measurement, land dimensions and evaluation to support project activities in line with the master schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities :
Plans, organizes, and directs work of one or more survey parties engaged in surveying earth's surface to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapmaking, land division, titles, mining or other purposes Direct or conduct land surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles, and associated reports Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to land surveys. Researches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys. Develops new data from photogrammetric records. Determines methods and procedures for establishing or reestablishing survey control. Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed. Coordinates findings with work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with project. Assumes legal responsibility for work and is licensed by department. Perform other tasks assigned by the direct manager which include but not limited to the above mentioned duties

Skills

BS Civil Engineering or related course

At Least 3 - 5 years experience in contracting and engineering business Relevant degree qualification

Solid technical background

Good analytical, numerical and research skills

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Planning knowledge

English proficiency (speaking, writing and reading)
